Is my basket a reservation?
Yes. Adding a plant to your basket holds that stock for 48 hours, and you will get a reminder email before the hold runs out, so you have time to confirm with the nursery or adjust your selection before it lapses.
Are you a broker, or do I deal with the nursery directly?
You deal with the nursery directly. PlantSpec does not buy, resell or mark up anything. We show you what nurseries have listed and you take it from there. Nothing you spend passes through us.
What areas do you cover?
There is no fixed region. PlantSpec shows you how far each nursery is from your site and lets you search by distance, so coverage depends on which nurseries near you are listed rather than a set list of counties.
How current is the stock and pricing I see?
If it is on the site, it is available. Nurseries keep their listings current, so you are not looking at an estimate, you are looking at what you can actually order.
How do I know a nursery listed here is a real business?
